When I was 10 years old I started with martial arts training; at first I did taekwondo, later I started with kickboxing.
Throughout the years I took part in several nonprofessional contests in different associations in full and semi contact.

My biggest achievements until 2005 were among several German and international German championship titles:
- 1998 Vice European Champion semi contact, Germany – Leverkusen, WAKO e.V.
- 1999 3rd place World Championship semi contact, Italy – Caorle, WAKO e.V.
- 2000 3rd place European Champion semi contact, Italy – Jesolo, WAKO e.V.
- 2001 3rd place World Championship semi contact, Slovenia – Maribor, WAKO e.V.
- 2002 European Champion full contact, Italy -  Jesolo, WAKO e.V.
- 2003 World Champion full contact, Belgium – Antwerpen, WKA
World Champion semi contact, Ireland – Killarney, WKA
- 2004 World Champion full contact, Switzerland – Basel, WKA
- 2005 World Champion full contact, USA – Buffalo, WKA
World Champion semi contact, Canada – Niagarafalls, WKA

Due to the fact that I had to prepare for the final exams I had to end my active contest career for the time being at that point in time.
In the following years I was attracted to cycling via the association ‘entscheidendes bewegen’ (moving the bottomline) (www.entscheidendesbewegen.org). Still today I like to pedal hard for charity campaigns.

After I gained ground in my job and private life in Lüdenscheid I was again attracted to my former kickboxing team. At first I supported the MKL team (http://www.kampfsportschule-mkl.de) in internal events and activities and also during contests and tournaments. I was then infected by their motivation and enthusiasm so that I took up training and preparation for contests again in summer 2010.

At this point in time I could not yet imagine how successful the coming year would turn out to be for me:
- 2011 October Vice World Champion semi contact, Macedonia – Skopje, WAKO e.V.
November World Champion full contact, Ireland – Dublin, WAKO e.V.

After this successful comeback I have finally said goodbye to international kickboxing contests. Still I am a loyal member of the MKL team where I continue with my regular training – but on another lower performance level.
Nowadays I enjoy my spare time, educate and train my DiabDog Candy and dedicate myself completely to my social projects.
There is nothing left for me to prove in the ring. I now put my power and motivation where it is needed and other people can profit from it directly.
